Equity Research Analyst

Description

Conduct in-depth fundamental analysis of equities in the TMT, consumer, or industrial sectors, focusing on companies listed in China and Hong Kong. Develop and maintain robust financial models to forecast company performance and assess investment opportunities. Engage with corporate management to gather insights, ask pertinent questions, and enhance understanding of company operations and strategies. Prepare detailed investment reports and presentations for internal stakeholders, highlighting key findings and investment recommendations. Monitor market trends, industry developments, and economic indicators that may impact portfolio companies. Collaborate with team members to share insights and contribute to investment strategies. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; CFA or equivalent certification is a plus. Minimum of 5 years of experience as an equity analyst in buy-side or sell-side firms, specifically focused on China/Hong Kong stocks. Proven expertise in bottom-up analysis within the TMT, consumer, or industrial sectors. Advanced financial modeling skills, with proficiency in Excel and financial analysis tools. Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese Mandarin.  Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
