What does a Waldorf Kindergarten classroom do every day? Would you like to experience a Waldorf kindergarten’s daily routine with your child? Our Chamomile playgroup runs on Tuesdays to Thursdays, 9 to 11 am. We strongly encourage parents to attend our Waldorf Readiness Workshop before taking part in this trial playgroup with their child. It will help you make sense of your trial class experience. Transitioning toddlers into independence slowly and warmly. In a Waldorf classroom, one can see how the comforting environment, rhythmic activities, and warm teacher all work together to support children's healthy development. This kindergarten trial class offers families a first-hand experience of Island Waldorf School’s early childhood environment. Together with your child, you’ll join a gentle rhythm of circle, hands-on activity, and story time led by our experienced teachers. We welcome children aged 1.5 to 3 years old to join with their parents. The trial class lasts for two hours. Registration must be made at least 3 days before the date of the intended class. This will help you better understand your trial class experience. Accompanied by parents, children gradually learn independence in a warm environment. The comforting environment, balanced activities, and warm teachers in Waldorf education collectively support children’s healthy development. Our playgroup provides a warm, stress-free experience, enabling children to learn independence step by step while accompanied by family members, preparing them for kindergarten. This kindergarten trial class offers families a firsthand experience of Island Waldorf School’s early childhood education environment. You may join, together with your child, the classroom rhythm led by our experienced teachers, including morning circle songs, hands-on crafts, and story time. Children aged 1.5 to 3 years old, accompanied by their parents, are welcome to participate. Each trial class lasts approximately two hours. Please complete registration at least three days prior to your scheduled class date.
