Maryknoll Convent School (Primary Section) Open House
Description
Join us as we celebrate the school’s rich history dating back to 1925. Explore our beautifully preserved historic architecture and learn about the school’s ongoing efforts to conserve its heritage. Guests will have the opportunity to visit designated areas of the campus. Event Highlights: Student Docent Stations: Stroll through designated outdoor areas of our historic campus at your own pace. Along the route, student docents stationed at interpretation points will share our school’s history and campus flora through archival photographs and stories, highlight key architectural features, and introduce our renowned azaleas and other notable plant species across the campus grounds. Conservation Talk: Discover our school’s approach to conservation education through student-led presentations — from preserving heritage classroom furniture to revitalising our library. Learn how we safeguard historical features and the school’s legacy while meeting the learning needs of today’s students. (Each session features two talks, each lasting for about 15 minutes, conducted in Cantonese or English.)
