Participants will learn to build a light synthesiser from scratch using a breadboard (a solderless universal circuit board). In the 'DIY Light-Sound Instrument Workshop', participants will learn to construct a light synthesiser from scratch on a breadboard (solderless universal circuit board). By assembling circuits by hand and understanding component placement and connections, participants will explore how light-sensitive components interact with electronic parts to transform light and shadow into sound. At the end of the workshop, participants will not only take home their own handmade light-sound synthesiser, but also gain knowledge on how to expand and modify the design, laying the foundation for creating personalized instruments in the future. This is an excellent opportunity to spark creativity and explore light-sound synthesis. No prior electronics experience is required; this workshop welcomes anyone interested in the interaction between light, shadow, and sound.
