Join our deTour 2025 designer-led tour by Karl Law, co-creator of “Bamboo Echo Chamber”, to explore "The Shape of Yearning." Guided Tour - Across the Board: Design, Play, Dialogue Welcome to join a unique workshop led by GROOVIDO, co-creator of “A Battle of Beasts”, and experience the collision between traditional games and contemporary design. This event explores how Italian designers reinterpret classic games such as Dou Shou Qi and Xiangqi using modular brick systems. You will have the opportunity to challenge the designers in gameplay and personally experience the joy of physical board gaming. Participants who successfully defeat the game masters will receive an exclusive deTour 2025 souvenir. The event will conclude with a dialogue exploring cultural differences in animal symbolism, modular thinking, and reimagining rules and boundaries.
