As a Data Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring data integrity, quality, and security within the organization. Your work will bridge the gap between business users and IT professionals, advocating for best practices in data management while understanding different departments' unique needs and priorities.    What you need to do: Data Governance and Policy Enforcement:  Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures.   Collaborate with stakeholders to define business terminology, data standards, guidelines, and protocols to ensure consistency and compliance across the organization  Data Quality Management:  Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and reliability  Implement data quality assessment processes, identify anomalies or discrepancies, and coordinate efforts to rectify issues and improve overall quality  Data Access and Security Management:  Responsible for managing access controls and permissions to safeguard sensitive or confidential data for their assigned datasets  Work closely with IT security teams to attain data access policies, monitor user activity, and mitigate security risks  Metadata Management:  Provide context and information about data assets  Define metadata standards, tags, and classifications to enhance data discoverability, lineage, and understanding across the organization  Data Lifecycle Management:  Oversee throughout the lifecycle of data, from creation or archival or deletion  Establish policy and procedures for data retention, archival and disposal, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and business needs Requirements University Degree in Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science or related discipline  Minimum 5 years of working experience on data or project management, preferably in banking or FinTech field  Experience in driving implementation of enterprise master data strategies.
