Although this fragrance highlights agarwood, which is highly valued in Japanese incense ceremonies, I am not familiar with its scent and can only perceive a calm, steady woody note as listed in the fragrance pyramid. The strong oriental tones of ginger and cardamom are most distinct, followed by the clean, fleeting, and watery softness of wild ginger flower. The dry down features heavy sandalwood and frankincense, combined with leather notes, creating a warm, sweet, and grounded sensation.
