Description

Manage & oversee the GBRS team to deliver the business targets and departmental goals - Monitor functional operations under the guidance of Head of Marketing - Explore business opportunities through international brokers and reinsurance cedants - Maintain a strong and long term relationship with all business sources - Review, analyze and monitor overall underwriting results to detect trends and make any strategic changes - Responsible for reviewing the existing products to offer support and assistance in enhancing and developing products variety to meet clients’ needs - Monitor underwriting performance and results, maintaining high degree of underwriting integrity to achieve targets - Maintain renewal ratios by utilizing preset Company Business Guideline and Delegated Authority Limit to fulfill broker & client satisfaction - Responsible for team monitoring to ensure the smooth running of all business including reinsurance business - Lead, coach and develop team members through delegation of responsibilities and staff empowerment - Monitor and manage to ensure end-to-end policy issuance process is met within agreed timeframe - Assist and follow up on the premium collections of intermediaries with long outstanding premiums to reduce bad debts and risks Requirements Must-have  - Passed IIQE Paper 1 & 2 or holder of ANZIIF (Senior Associate) or equivalent  - Proven track record in dealing with global brokers and reinsurance cedants  - Good knowledge in multi-class of commercial line business  - Strong technical skills in general insurance  - Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin   Good-to-have  - Demonstrate a professional, courteous attitude with brokers and reinsurance partners  - A good team player with strong communication and analytical skills  - Customer focus, respond timely and ethically to requests/enquires Benefits  - Reporting to Head of Marketing  - Working location: Quarry Bay  - Working days: 5 days per week  - Fixed Working hours: Mon to Fri: 9 am to 5:30 pm  - Work from home arrangements: 1 to 2 days per week subject to seasonality  - Fast-growing business with excellent exposure and opportunities, expanding marketing team - 20 days of Annual leave - Medical Insurance (In & outpatient, dental, optical, annual check-up) - Anniversary Leave (Each year on Join Date) - Birthday Leave - Family leave after first year of service - Education allowance - Double Pay - Discretionary Bonus
