(1972) China, Jiangsu Province, Yixing purple clay teapot, fired with firewood, title: Shuanglong Sanzu Tiliang Hu (Double Dragon Three-foot Beam Pot), made by: Yixing No. 1 Factory, entirely handcrafted, a work from the 1970s produced by the master craftsmen of the Jinggong Class at Yixing No. 1 Factory. The Yixing No. 1 Factory was established in the 1950s by Master Gu Juzhou. The artisans of the Jinggong Class were also guided and supervised behind the scenes by Master Gu Juzhou, with the aim of cultivating more talent in Yixing zisha pottery. To this day, Yixing No. 1 Factory continues to contribute to the development of Yixing pottery craftsmanship. Title: Shuanglong Sanzu Tiliang Hu (Double Dragon Three-foot Beam Pot). The clay material is pure natural aged native ore purple clay, with a mesh count of 50, capacity 360 cc. The three points align in a straight line. The handle features a 'double dragons spitting pearls' design with fine carving craftsmanship. The spout is similarly carved into a dragon head. The lid knob is sculpted as a lion, serving as the handle. The base is supported by three legs.
