Engineered Garments designer Daiki Suzuki loves military elements, and cleverly uses vintage clothing patterns from the past as references. Every one or two seasons, there will be a new jacket, which might have evolved from previous designs, keeping things fresh. However, sometimes certain jacket styles can get quite complicated (I once sold one complex jacket style, which was actually quite affordable). In contrast, his shirt and pants designs are much more consistent. This one-stitch shirt could even be considered a staple piece. Each season it comes with different prints or other elements, sometimes including collage stitching, like a canvas. This plaid shirt is simple and straightforward, multi-colored combination, made of thinner cotton fabric suitable for summer wear, with a loose fit and only a slight curve at the bottom hem.
