As part of the company’s further expansion into cloud services, fifty-five is currently hiring for a regional position in Hong Kong. A successful Cloud Data Engineer must understand our customer’s needs, be well-versed in questions about cloud environments and building digital analytics solutions on the cloud, and be familiar with data engineering on the cloud. The ideal candidate should also be aware of the importance of quality deliverables, respectful of deadlines, and able to articulate the business value of projects as well as technical considerations in clear terms. Design and implement data architectures and pipelines for cloud and digital analytics projects on cloud Deliver hands-on technical services, such as cloud migration, data migration, data transformation, data warehousing, data visualization, and advanced data analytics Set up CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows to ensure proper integration of cloud infrastructure and data pipelines across environments Streamline and automate processes to ensure the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of digital analytics platform Work with our technology partners and the digital analytics team to assist in pre-sales work delivery such as contributing to RFP responses and demos for new project opportunities Work with the Global Engineering team to develop and execute POCs for cloud and data projects, showcasing our solutions and demonstrating how they meet customer needs Requirements University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related disciplines At least 1 year of hands-on experience in cloud data platforms on AWS, Azure, and GCP Fluent in spoken and written English and Cantonese Self-motivated, self-organized and strong problem-solving skill Experience in microservices and API development with Java and Python Knowledge and experience in Big Data, Data Science and Cloud technologies Experience in website and application development and tracking Professional cloud certification holder (GCP, AWS, and Azure) Client facing experience to be presentable and able to translate complex technical concepts into layman language Knowledge of version controlling, DevOps practice, containerization, and Agile Benefits Exposure to cloud automation, marketing platforms, and media data analytics projects Opportunity to work with our global consulting and engineering teams to engage our clients from diverse industries around the world 20 days Annual Leave Extra medical coverage, including inpatient and outpatient Work remotely (Maximum 2 days a week Work From Home policy) Regular team activities including TGIF, team lunch and Off-site!
