Requirements PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Medical Sciences, Industrial Pharmacy, or equivalent discipline. At least 5+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience. Experince in managing a small team Have hand-on experience in development of oral solid pharmaceutical product, including formulation and process development Proficient in a broad array of analytical and chromatographic methods, such as HPLC, LC-MS, DSC, particle analyzer etc. and good understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment Familiar with GMP /cGMP and other quality management system is preferred Basic knowledge in product registration, regulatory compliance and new drug application will be beneficial Demonstrate ability in data interpretation, trouble shooting and problem solving Job Duties: Responsible for managing new and generic drug product development projects. Manage product design, experimental design and implementation, data analysis, documentation and filing. Provide technical support to cross-functional teams for product quality control, validation, and evaluation. Participate in tech transfer of products Provide support on new APIs and excipients sourcing Communicate with both internal and external parties in the development of pharmaceutical products. From day-to-day, you’ll… Assist in arranging sampling & testing for various materials such as starting materials, packaging materials & finished products etc; Assist in managing work allocation of frontline QC staff to ensure all QC resources are fully utilized in an effective way; Devise and review GMP documents such as various material specifications, SOPs, training materials; Review and manage various Batch Production Records, various record forms & test reports; Involve in various validation activities, equipment calibration activities and product stability studies; Assist in EM / compressed air and purified water monitoring program Provide and maintain training program for all QC staff with preset schedule; Assist in Quality Management System Implementation such OOS investigation, Risk Assessment, Deviation & Incident Investigation Management, Product Quality Complaint & CAPA etc. Requirements Degree holder in Chemistry, Chinese Medicines, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Studies or related disciplines. Having at least 3 years’ experience in pharmaceutical industry Experience in chemical analysis of TCM (traditional chinese medicine) and/or pharmaceuticals, and preferably with microbiological analysis experience.
