Unlike typical procurement roles, this position focuses on collaborating with various stakeholders to drive New Product Development (NPD) projects. You will work under the Procurement and Material Planning team, closely partnering with R&D, marketing, production, and project management teams to ensure seamless integration of procurement activities within NPD initiatives. What you'll be doing New Product Development Collaboration: Partner with R&D, marketing, production, and project managers to support NPD projects from inception to launch Ensure all necessary materials and supplies for new products are sourced, produced, and delivered on time Coordinate procurement activities to align with project timelines, quality standards, and budgetary constraints Project Procurement Management: Manage the entire procurement process for NPD projects, including project planning, strategic sourcing, cost benchmarking, and supply chain risk mitigation Conduct analysis and provide insights to facilitate quality and cost improvements for new products Identify and engage with new suppliers to support innovative product developments Supplier Collaboration and Management: Collaborate with suppliers to understand project-specific requirements and ensure they meet Vita Green's quality and delivery standards Manage supplier relationships, including reviewing agreements, performance evaluations, and development initiatives. Negotiate costs and contracts to align with internal budgets and financial goals Process Improvement and Reporting: Design and deliver procurement management reports to inform strategy formulation for NPD projects Propose and implement plans to improve procurement process efficiency within the context of new product developments Drive continuous process improvements to enhance project outcomes and procurement effectiveness Team Leadership and Coordination: Lead a small team to organize and manage daily operations related to NPD procurement activities Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between procurement and other functional teams to ensure successful project execution Oversee technology transfer processes from prototype to production scale, working closely with the production team to define product specifications and operational workflows Requirements Who we’re looking for Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, or related disciplines At least 3 years of managerial experience in sourcing and procurement management, preferably within NPD projects Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams on new product development or similar projects Experience in the retail or personal care industry is highly preferred In-depth knowledge of procurement policies, procedures, and best practices Good knowledge of manufacturing processes, project management, and NPD (New Product Development). Reporting to the Senior Buying Manager, the role is to curate a commercially viable geo-channel assortment for the Brand in conjunction with Omni-merchandising, Global Product Operations, Design and Production teams to meet the competitive and commercial needs of the markets.  The role is to manage and spearhead in-season and future assortment strategy and opportunity with the cross functional teams’ partnership for maximizing sales and margin.   Key Responsibilities Partner with the Senior Manager and Brand Management to ensure product strategies are in line with overall business strategy.
