Missions: As a Production and Supplier Quality Engineer within the framework of an international assignment (VIE), your main mission will be to ensure the excellence and compliance of Withings products by closely collaborating with our partners and suppliers. You will report directly to the Production Manager based in Shenzhen and, operationally, also to the Quality team based in Issy-Les-Moulineaux, France. Your responsibilities will include: - Supplier Oversight Participate in the selection, qualification, and evaluation of our suppliers according to our standards and applicable regulatory requirements. - Quality Audits Plan and conduct audits of our suppliers for selection and periodic evaluation in accordance with ISO13485 requirements. Coordinate the preparation of physical factory audits by our notified body. Ensure follow-up on non-conformities and action plans following conducted audits. - Non-Conformance Management Ensure quality issues are effectively addressed, lead root cause analyses directly with factories or suppliers, propose corrective action plans, and ensure their rapid implementation to improve production reliability. - Communication and Problem Resolution Act as the main point of contact between suppliers and Withings management, proposing innovative solutions to quality issues. - Process Compliance Contribute to updating and continuously improving Withings’ Quality Management System (QMS) for activities related to production and supplier management. - On-Site Inspections Carry out regular visits to supplier facilities to verify compliance with quality standards and good manufacturing practices. Requirements Professional experience in mechanical, electronic, or production industries is desirable. Knowledge of quality methodologies or experience in root cause analysis and problem-solving (8D, 5W, etc.). Audit Skills: Practical experience in internal or external audits, with the ability to identify issues and recommend improvements. Education: A Master's degree or engineering diploma, completed with 2-3 years of professional experience in a similar role. Language Skills: Proficiency in Chinese (spoken and written) would be a major advantage, as well as fluency in English and French. Quality Management Experience: Demonstrated experience in implementing and maintaining quality management systems would be an asset, along with an understanding of ISO9001 or ISO13485 standards and the ability to apply them in a production context. Location: After an initial one-month training in Issy-les-Moulineaux, the position is based in Hong Kong. You will be required to travel frequently to our manufacturing plants in mainland China or Taiwan.
